MLOVE – Celebrating a Lifestyle of Mobility

MLOVE ConFestival Europe was concluded successfully with a line up of outstanding speakers, international artists and a highly participatory audience.

The feedback of the audience and speakers is phenomenal and keeps pouring in. To get a glimpse of what the MLOVE ConFestival was all about, MLOVE is releasing a video with highlights and a taste of the amazing atmosphere.

The 19th century private castle just south of Berlin proved to be an inspiring hotspot for four nights and three days – including a HackCAMP for the first time. Mobile enthusiasts, digital experts and mobile developers merged with artists, architects and social entrepreneurs to form, share and develop ideas and ideals of our connected humanity in a very relaxed and positive attitude.

“MLOVE again was inspiring and a gathering of like minded, passionate people that are creating the future of mobility. We are deeply humbled by the growing community and its positive spirit that is connected around the world,” summarizes Harald Neidhardt, curator of the MLOVE ConFestival series.

MLOVE ConFestival is a highly interactive format that creates new sparks in an informal and playful atmosphere. Ideas are not just mentioned or discussed, but develop a personality of its own and brought to life in the ideation workshop and open space. Creativity really hit the roof in this year’s ten Future Cubes, which included themes from mCommerce to sustainability and music.

The startup competition had five “hot contenders” (Venture Village) that presented their pitch on stage. The jury voted 10 Stamps for the first prize, a NOKIA Lumia smartphone and a ticket for MLOVE Japan.

Three days of enthusiastic sessions, inspiring discussion and thrilling workshops the 250+ participants summed up 2012 MLOVE ConFestival with some major quotes:

“MLOVE is not just what happens on stage but all the cool interactions and conversation during three days of intense connection. It is inspiring and fun, it creates value, knowledge and emotions. It is definitely an innovative format which combines the insights of a conference with the spirit of a summer camp.” – Mara Balestrini, speaker

“MLOVE helps people communicate better” – Jonathan MacDonald, this fluid world

“MLOVE brought us three memorable days meeting innovators and entrepreneurs from multiple disciplines, visionaries, artists, pioneers, and artists.” – Charlotte Bilzer, Berlin Startup Academy

“MLOVE is the next generation tech conference” – Andrew J Scott, Taploid

“By far the most stimulating conference I’ve ever attended. Innovation is born of serendipity – and MLOVE’s organisers are all about bringing speakers and attendees from various backgrounds together for that to happen.” – Sabrina Nagel, Venture Village

“The MLOVE folks created a wonderful experience there, which made you feel instantly at home as well as super inspired.” – Benjamin Rabe, artist

“The fact that the location is removed from city bustle and participants are therefore kettled in the cozy but intense atmosphere, serves to concentrate the mind and infuse the air with a fragrance of purposeful conversations.” – Ralph Talmont, Pixengo

“If mobile is your thing, attending MLOVE is a must.” – Alan Alroy, Bizzabo

To round things up, here is a cool infographic of the networking going on at MLOVE – with the help of Bizzabo, a networking app that had it’s world premier at MLOVE.
